A newly created role, you will be responsible for leading the Commercial business unit, driving growth, profitability, and market positioning across key sectors such as telecommunications, positioning, AI, and data centres. Reporting to the CEO, you will have full P&L accountability and oversee all aspects of strategy, sales, business development, and financial performance. Ensuring the commercial business unit is aligned with strategic goals and remains globally competitive.
As a key member of the executive team, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to implement a new operating model. Your role will include shaping long-term commercial strategy, fostering customer loyalty, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial strategy and market positioning, identifying sustainable and profitable growth opportunities.
- Own P&L accountability, ensuring financial performance and optimising investments.
- Lead cross-functional teams globally, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation and collaboration.
- Form and maintain deep relationships with global customers and strategic partners, driving revenue and competitive advantage.
- Develop and manage business plans and budgets, ensuring financial discipline and maximising value.
- Oversee product lifecycle management and R&D alignment, ensuring next-generation technology remains at the forefront.
- Engage with key industry stakeholders, representing the company at conferences and forums.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management, maintaining transparency in high-stakes commercial projects.
- Champion customer focus and market expansion, leveraging deep industry insights to drive strategic partnerships.
About You
We are seeking a proven commercial leader with deep experience in high-tech industries, ideally within Frequency Control Products (FCP), Semiconductors, AI, telecommunications or related technology sectors.
You will have
- Extensive experience and a track record of leading commercial teams or business units and driving strategic growth in global markets, ideally within the mentioned technology-driven sectors.
- Experience in B2B sales to major global technology customers, business development, and product lifecycle management.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire global teams.
- The ability to navigate complex environments and competitive pressures with agility.
- A collaborative mindset, working effectively within an executive team to deliver company-wide strategic objectives.
