About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Acusensus during its expansion into New Zealand. As a Systems Administrator , you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining IT systems for the New Zealand and Australian teams, contributing to both local and global projects. You’ll have a strong technical skillset in Linux, AWS, and cloud-based platforms, while providing critical support for a wide range of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Level 1 Support: Handle employee support requests for devices (laptops, desktops, iPads, mobile phones), access requests, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Cloud Management: Maintain roles and permissions across multiple SaaS applications (e.g., Google Workspace) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
  • IT Asset Management: Oversee IT equipment purchases, setups, and maintenance across the organisation. Keep company IT asset and system access registers updated.
  • Office IT Infrastructure: Maintain limited on-prem office infrastructure (meeting room equipment, printers, Wi-Fi, etc.).
  • Documentation & Policies: Create and update technical documents and contribute to internal policies and procedures.
  • Cybersecurity Support: Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, including monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities.

About You
We’re looking for a collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented Systems Administrator who thrives in a growing environment. You’ll have a proactive approach to problem-solving and independent decision-making skills, as well as the eagerness to learn and grow. Strong communication skills will help you interact effectively with stakeholders, and an interest or background in cybersecurity is a bonus.
